I have worked with Pieter of SA Water Warriors on several outreaches to farming communities in our area as well as Karoo and Eastern Cape. He is the organiser for all donations, collection of donations and distribution of donations . At the weekend of 3 June I joined them on an outreach to Wolwefontein and Kleinpoort. Only then did I realise the amount of work and planning that go into an outreach like this. The organising of transport for donations, logistics, accommodation for volunteers, distribution of water and food parcels at the outreach. We returned from this outreach on Sunday 4 June and on Monday 5 June he already started planning for the next outreach to Victoria West, where farmers and farm workers are in desperate need. This man is a hero! He never stops.
