KNYSNA NEWS - Current Western Cape Premier Helen Zille has been appointed as the DA’s Political Head for the Knysna constituency.

"In my capacity as the DA’s East Region Chairperson, I welcome this news which was ratified by the Provincial Executive Committee on 12 November. Helen Zille has repeatedly expressed her commitment to contribute to the DA’s 2019 Election Campaign.
"Her leadership, expertise and experience will be invaluable to the Knysna constituency and we thank Helen for her willingness to fulfil this important role. Helen Zille met with the Knysna caucus earlier the month (Sunday 4 November) to discuss the way forward.
"In Beaufort West the DA's Federal Finance Chair, Dion George MP, was appointed as the new Political Head with Daylin Mitchell MPL now focusing on his role as Premier Winde's campaign chair. In Prince Albert Bokkie Geyer was appointed as the new Political Head.
We welcome their contributions and assistance in building the DA brand, ensuring that we retain the Western Cape and wish the team well in their respective roles."
