NATIONAL NEWS - Online hospitality service, Airbnb, has labelled the assault of a South African woman as one of its facilities in Amsterdam as appalling.
Local artist, Sibahle Nkumbi and a friend were forced out of their accommodation because they were late in checking out at the weekend.
A video has been circulated of Nkumbi apparently being pushed head first down a flight of stairs by an Airbnb landlord.
In a statement, Airbnb’s David King says appalling and unconscionable behaviour against members of the community runs counter to everything the service stands for.
