NATIONAL NEWS - United Democratic Movement (UDM) leader Bantu Holomisa says he will meet with the African National Congress (ANC) and Democratic Alliance (DA) for the second time this afternoon as negotiations to form a coalition continues across the political spectrum.
Both the party’s received less than 50 percent in Tshwane, Johannesburg and Ekurhuleni and are seeking help from smaller parties to govern the big councils.
Political parties have been given 14 days after the election results to conclude talks and finalise coalitions.
Holomisa says he met with the two parties at the weekend and laid out several conditions.
