MOTORING NEWS - A new chapter in the Datsun legend story is being written as Datsun launches a limited edition, high-spec version of the Datsun GO Lux.
This follows the successful reintroduction of the Datsun brand to South Africa in 2014, with the launch of the GO, which has since become a leading seller in the competitive A-segment of the market.
The new GO REMIX, with special accessories, is a modern model that will add new excitement to the range. This addition will now see the GO available locally in the base GO Mid, GO Lux and REMIX versions. Prices vary from R104 900 to R159 900 across the range, says Des Fenner, General Manager of Datsun South Africa.

The other two offerings introduced by Datsun on 31 August 2016 are the GO+ multi-purpose vehicle and the GO+ Panel Van, a new entrant into the light commercial vehicle market. The GO+ offers all the attributes that have made the Datsun GO a best-seller amongst first-time car buyers, plus features that will appeal to young, adventurous motorists looking for a car that will carry their growing young families in style. It is a 5 + 2, a versatile 7-seater. The third row of seats that folds down, offers extra storage space and great flexibility.
The Datsun GO+ Panel Van is ideal for small business owners looking for a city runabout that is capable of moving anything from flowers, catering supplies, to a range of other small to medium sized goods. It offers a whopping loading capacity of 542kg and has a loading volume of 3,43m³.
Buyers will get an exterior package that includes aero kit for the front, sides and rear of the vehicle, rear roof spoiler, 15" inch alloy rims with GO centre cap, front fog lights, remote side mirrors with indicator lights, Datsun REMIX special version name plate.
Interior features are: Blaupunkt Bluetooth radio/ CD/ USB in an all new interior shade, a new facia for side mirror and fog lamp control and Datsun GO carpet set.
