HOFMEYR NEWS - At the Eastern Cape Showing Championships, held from 25 to 28 September at the Grahamstown (Makhanda) Riding Club, a 12-year-old horse rider from Waterlea Farms near Hofmeyr, Lexie Fourie, took the competition by storm.

She and her steadfast pony, Waaksaam Memoir, were awarded the Utility Champion Pony award and the Breed Working Riding Champion title. 

Putting the cherry on top, she also won the Open Working Riding Pony Championship, the Reserve Champion Novice Show Pony award, as well as the Reserve Champion Show Hunter Pony award.
