GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - A woman was killed in a horrific accident on the N9 between Graaff-Reinet and Aberdeen at about 14:30 this afternoon.
According to local police, the woman was travelling from Graaff-Reinet to Aberdeen, when about 15km from Graaff-Reinet, she appeared to lose control of the vehicle.
The car veered across the oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an Eskom Landcruiser travelling towards Graaff-Reinet.
The driver of the Landcruiser was taken to Midland Hospital with a broken arm.
It is thought at this stage that there were no passengers in either vehicle.
The name of the deceased has not yet been released by the police.
