Weather: Morning fog with clouds in places

GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - While severe thunderstorms resulting in localised damage are expected in the Northern Cape today, the South African Weather Service has not issued any weather warnings for the Garden Route or Karoo.

Regional weather forecast:

Western Cape
Morning fog in places in the southern and western parts, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm, but fine in the interior with isolated showers and thundershowers over the north-eastern parts by the afternoon. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-easterly, but south-westerly along the south coast.

Fog in places south of escarpment at first otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated afternoon and evening showers and thundershowers but scattered in the north. The wind along the coast will be light northerly, becoming light south-easterly in the afternoon.
