GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - According to the South African Weather Service, fine and warm to hot but partly cloudy to cloudy and cool with isolated to scattered showers and rain in the extreme east/south-east can be expected on Monday.
Sunday 31 August, marked the end of the meteorological Winter in South Africa. Spring is from 1 September to 30 November. Expect longer days, warmer weather, windy conditions and the first spring thunderstorms in some parts of the country.
While many celebrate 1 September as Spring Day, Spring in the Southern Hemisphere will technically begin on Monday, 22 September.

Fog patches in places south of escarpment at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, becoming cloudy with isolated showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior from the afternoon.
The wind along the coast will be fresh south-westerly, becoming strong in the afternoon.
