GRAAFF-REINET NEWS – Out of almost 100 baristas, Graaff-Reinet’s own Carl Vrolick has been selected as a finalist in a national latte art competition!
Vrolick creates beautiful art every day as a barista at Maria’s Coffee Roastery in Somerset Street and deserves some props!
Over 100 baristas entered this competition hosted by Coffee Magazine, 22 made it through to the preliminary round of the Almond Breeze Latte Art Video Challenge and now only six remain.
Who will emerge victorious and walk away with R5 000 cash? Well, Graaff-Reinetters are hoping Vrolik will!
The public has until July 6 to vote. All it takes is one click! The barista at the top of the leader board on July 6 wins the spoils.
The baristas have been challenged to pour a SWAN and a design of their choosing. They have 90 seconds to impress you and win your vote.
