GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The recent National Senior Certificate exam remarking secured a 100% pass rate for Union High School’s Class of 2024.
The remark also resulted in three more subject distinctions, bringing Union’s total to 47.
Joshua Neill earned one of these distinction, this one for mathematics, in addition to the two distinctions he had already had before the remarking.
Union said it was thrilled by these latest developments. “I only wish they had marked the original paper with the same care, because it would have been great to have had 100% at the beginning of the year, but better late than never,” said Union’s spokesperson, Mariëtte Burger.
Before the remark, the Class of 2024’s pass rate stood at 98.1%.
