GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Another two people have died while two others sustained serious injuries, when the car they were travelling in lost control and overturned on the R61 in Aberdeen - travelling towards Beaufort West earlier today.
The vehicle - with four occupants (three adult males, and a nine-year-old boy) was traveling from the Western Cape.
Two men died on the scene.
The injured driver and the nine-year-old boy sustained severe injuries, and were taken to the Aberdeen Provincial Hospital for further medical assistance.
It is alleged that fatigue and reckless driving were the main contributing factors that led to the accident.
No safety belts were worn by the occupants.
A case of culpable homicide has been opened at the Aberdeen SAPS for further investigation.
