ABERDEEN NEWS - Six people died after a bus overturned on the R63 en route to Aberdeen from Beaufort West last night (4 August) at around 11pm.
The bus was about 40km outside Aberdeen when the accident occurred.
No other vehicles were involved.
Capt Bradley Rawlinson, spokesperson for the Graaff-Reinet SAPS, confirmed that six passengers died on scene.
“A further 22 people were taken to hospitals in Beaufort West and Graaff-Reinet,” he told the Advertiser.
