GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — It's time again to showcase the abundant talent in Graaff-Reinet.
A talent show will be held at the Graaff-Reinet Town Hall later this month, culminating in the final on Saturday, 30 June.
The auditions will be held at two venues. Residents of Kroonvale, Asherville and Santaville will be able to show their talent on 18 and 19 June at Spandau Secondary School, and for the residents of the Horseshoe and Umasizakhe, on 20 and 21 June at the Town Hall, from 14:00.
All ages are welcome. Successful participants will be given a chance to show their talent on stage on Saturday, 23 June, and judges will select who goes through to the final, which will be held on 30 June in the Town Hall.
At the final, the participants will perform and this time the audience will be given a chance to vote for the winners. The main prizes are R1 000 cash for the winner, R650 for the runner-up, and R450 for third prize, and there will also be many other prizes. Tickets are priced at R50 for VIP tickets, R30 for ordinary tickets and R15 for children.
