KAROO NEWS - The Sarah Baartman District Municipality (SBDM) conveys its sincere condolences to the family of Councillor Zoliswa Funiselo who passed away yesterday afternoon, 25 May, after a short illness.
Cllr Funiselo served as the Portfolio Councillor for Planning and Economic Development at the time of her death and was a member of the SBDM Council for six years.
Executive Mayor, Cllr Deon De Vos, who has worked alongside Cllr Funiselo, said Councillor Funiselo was a woman of integrity. “She had a true passion for service delivery. Her presence will be missed as she was an integral part of the Mayoral Committee. To her family, friends, and colleagues, I wish to extend my condolences. This is a sad day for the district.”
