At least two other roads have also been closed or are being monitored in the Eastern Cape.

KAROO NEWS - The N9 at Lootsberg Pass between Graaff-Reinet and Middelburg and the R61 at Wapadsberg Pass, Cradock, towards Graaff-Reinet has been closed due to heavy snow and slippery conditions.

At least two other roads have also been closed or are being monitored in the Eastern Cape.

We are aware of the R56 between Molteno and Steenburg and the N6 at Penhoek Pass between Jamestown and Komani being closed, and the R58 at Barkley Pass between Khowa (Elliot) and Barkley East is being monitored and closure is imminent.
