EASTERN CAPE NEWS - Voter registration weekend, 20 and 21 June, is around the corner.
This is the ideal time to make sure you are registered to vote for the local government elections that will take place on Wednesday 4 November.
It is important to understand that in this election, residents will be voting for their own ward councillors.
This is the person you will rely on when problems arise in your neighbourhood, when service delivery issues need attention, or when your community needs a voice at Council level.
This is your opportunity to choose someone you trust and can depend on to represent your ward.
Don’t lose that opportunity simply because you failed to register to vote. Make sure your name is on the voters’ roll so that your voice can be heard.
