GRAAFF-REINET NEWS— The qualifying round of the Graaff-Reinet Talent Show was held on Saturday, 23 June, in the Graaff-Reinet Town Hall, showcasing some great previously- unseen Graaff-Reinet talent.

As well as providing some wonderful evenings of entertainment, the organisers' aim is to take the youth off the streets and guide them to do something positive with their lives.

This in turn should lead to participants gaining confidence and belief in themselves. The panel of judges voted for six talented finalists to go through to the finals, which will be held this weekend, on Saturday 30 June at 17:00.

This time, the winners will be decided by support from the audience rather than by judges, so the organisers are keen to fill the hall with supporters for the various acts.

This promises to be a great evening's entertainment, for an entry fee of only R30. There will also be a tuck shop available.
