GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Camdeboo Football Academy Development had a tough game against Peace Makers FC of Gqeberha, who claimed a vital 4-0 victory in an intense ABC Motsepe League match at the Botanics Grounds last Sunday.
This crucial win comes as a relief for Peace Makers, who were teetering on the edge of relegation at the bottom of the log.
Peace Makers wasted no time asserting dominance, scoring their first goal within just five minutes of the opening half.
The second goal was scored by Sinakonke Mthembu. Peace Makers kept Camdeboo on their toes with their speed and, together with the Karoo heat, proved too strong for the local team.
Camdeboo captain Mphuthumi Mthembu was not satisfied with his team's performance. He said the players were too relaxed and did not take the game seriously, consequently losing
the ball too easily.
The happy coach of Peace Makers, Siyabonga Nchungutha, congratulated his players with the hard work, commitment and determination they displayed from the start to the end of the game. He also applauded the captain, Liyema Phali, for giving his all to the game.
The team had practised hard during the week and were very focused to win the game.
