KAROO NEWS - Camdeboo Animal Welfare, Shelter and Education (CAWSE) recently held a 4 km family fun walk and run on Mountain Drive to help raise much-needed funds.
Furry friends and two-legged participants had a lot of fun.
CAWSE wants to thank everyone who came along, their volunteers, those who couldn't make it but still bought a ticket, the photographers and cookie baker.
CAWSE has weekly outreaches where a team of volunteers goes into the townships to dip, powder, deworm and offer medical treatment to dogs and cats. They educate owners on how to take care of their pets. Through their fundraisers, they raise funds to sterilise animals from households that cannot afford this procedure.
