GRAAFF - REINET NEWS - A group of retired nurses from Graaff-Reinet gathered at Drostdy Hotel to welcome new members to the former nurses' club and to finalise their constitution.
The former nurses support each other, reach out to sick retirees, support families in times of bereavement and cultivate food gardens in the community.
They plan to join a tour group to Namqua (Clanwilliam) and to register with the Lions Club to play bowls. The nurses' club convener, sister Thandeka Majoka says the club meets on a monthly basis.
