GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - We're excited to introduce Ben Snyman as the new editor of the Graaff-Reinet Advertiser. Ben comes to us with loads of enthusiasm and a strong desire to make a real impact in our community.

Ben's journey into journalism started in Pretoria, where he graduated from Boys' High School and after completing one year of service to our country he studied at Pretoria Technicon. 

He then went on to Witbank News for his practical training. Ben has always had a passion for storytelling, especially human-interest stories. Having worked at well-known publications like the Polokwane Observer and Cape Community Newspaper, Ben also spent two years in the fast-paced world of film production as a production secretary.

Beyond being a journalist, Ben is a dedicated family man. He's married with a young son who will soon join him in our lovely town. Ben is dedicated to building strong relationships with local clubs, community members, schools, and important institutions like the municipality and police. He values teamwork and aims to amplify the voices and stories that mean the most to our community.
