GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — Granaat, an initiative by the Camdeboo’s Friends of the Park, invites all nature lovers from Graaff-Reinet and surrounds to a world-class photo extravaganza.
On Tuesday evening, 10 April, the John Rupert Theatre will be the venue for a visual display of winning photographs from the arid national parks of South Africa.
These photos, chosen as the best from 10 000 entries in a national competition, will be displayed on the big screen, syncronised to a wondrous soundtrack of music as chosen by celebrated conductor, Richard Cock.
All those interested are invited to celebrate the breathtaking art that is nature itself, presented by Henriette Engelbrecht, 15-year marketing manager of SANParks of the Arid Parks: Kgalagadi, Richtersveld, Augrabies, Namaqua, Mokala and Tankwa.
The doors to the theatre open at 18:30. Tickets, at R25 each, will be available at the door.
