SUNDAYS RIVER NEWS - The Sundays River Valley Municipality has urged residents who recently visited the Sundays River Valley traffic offices in Kirkwood to get tested and quarantine if they experience Covid-19 symptoms.
"It is with great concern to confirm that one of our employees has tested positive for Covid-19 and has been in contact with everyone at the office," reads a statement by the municipality.
All traffic office employees have been tested and remain under quarantine.
The offices were closed yesterday, 26 October, and are expected to open at 07:30 on 30 October.
According to the municipality, a second wave of Covid-19 cases has hit the municipal area. "We must all strengthen adherence to the health protocols put in place to curb the spread of the virus."
