Luxolo prize giving

KAROO NEWS - Last Friday, 1 November, parents and learners enjoyed the prize giving ceremony at Luxolo Intermediate School.

Top achievers each year grades 5 to 9: Asenathi Snoek grade 5, Onalo Moti Grade 6, Owam Dumakude grade 7, Haijila Jacobs grade 8, Lasha - Ann Charlse grade 9

Top achievers in each phase with Principal Jan Mathiale: foundation phase, Sthembiso Lamondt, intermediate phase Asenathi Snoek, senior phase Owam Dumakude. Owam received the Elizabeth Frazenburg trophy, together with R500. She also received R1 000 for the 2020 school year, and a further R1000 for first year entrance to university, should she go.

Sports awards: Lisakhanya Vaster (netball), Lihle Tinus (soccer), Keenan Job (rugby), and Christoline Fani, Rewaldo Deelman and Renaldo May (all for athletics), with sports master Macton Ruiters.
