GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - As if stiff opposition and crash defence are not a tough enough hurdle to overcome in rugby, being blanketed by a swarm of locusts for the whole duration of a match gives a new meaning to the word challenge.
And that's what all the rugby teams of Union and Saint Andrew’s School from Bloemfontein had to endure during the rugby derby between the two schools last Saturday in Graaff-Reinet.
The hometown boys adapted slightly better to the provocation and won several of their matches.
It was not easy but fun was had by all.
