GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - A Grade 11 learner at Nqweba secondary school, Joy-Ann Dampies (17), had the privilege to attend the Telkom Netball Championship held in Cape Town from 6 to 11 July as a member of the U19 squad. 

Here she was selected for the SA development Squad. 

She also made good connections at the championship and was spotted by other netball clubs and schools that invited her to join them. 

At home, Dampies plays for the local netball club, Morocco Eagles.
