JANSENVILLE NEWS - On 1 July, Huis Welverdiend held a farewell for Zuki Maci, the Department of Social Development's social worker for the retirement home.
Maci often visited them and everyone at Huis Welverdiend just loved her.
However, about three weeks ago, she announced her resignation to ensure a better life for her children.
In her farewell speech, Huis Welverdiend's manager, Leoné Mulder, said that the staff and Maci could laugh together, could fight together and could pray and play together.
“For more than 10 years, Huis Welverdiend and Zuki Maci formed a close bond, and we worked closely side by side.
We will miss her soft voice, her kind heart, her patience with residents and staff, and we will miss her support. We wish her success the size of her dreams,” Mulder said.
