GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Charlene Colyn, a celebrated figure in the bowling community, has made history by becoming the first woman from the Midlands District to be selected for the prestigious Green Squad Camp. The announcement came from the executive and selectors of Bowls South Africa, marking a significant milestone in Colyn's illustrious bowling career.
The Green Squad Camp is scheduled to take place at The Nest Hotel from Thursday to Sunday, 4 to 7 July. This four-day intensive training camp promises uninterrupted and focused sessions designed to enhance the skills of the nation's top bowlers.
Participants will benefit from comprehensive coaching across five key areas: physical, physiological, technical, tactical, and lifestyle.
These sessions will be facilitated and managed by a professional team of national coaches, ensuring that each player receives top-tier instruction and support.
Colyn's selection not only highlights her exceptional talent and dedication but also sets a new benchmark for female bowlers in the Midlands District.
