GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Eastern Cape Provincial Heritage Resources Authority (ECPHRA) Permit Committee of the Sarah Baartman region has recently received an application from Transnet for the demolition of the sorely vandalised Graaff-Reinet railway station building.

This application could not be considered by the committee as the inputs of interested and affected parties were not sought by the applicant as required by the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999.
