GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Graaff-Reinet is home to the Camdeboo National Park, where the famous Valley of Desolation is located - talk about a stunning view!
The park is one of the youngest in the SANParks group and was established in 2005.
The park is divided into three sections, so make sure to ask for a map to enjoy the entire park.
The valley attracts around 220 bird species, 336 plant varieties and 43 mammals.
Animals to look out for include ostriches, gemsbok, eland and the elusive kudu; the king of the Karoo.
