GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Two-thousand Roses of Hope for Cancer are waiting to be stuck into the lawn around the Groot Kerk in Graaff-Reinet on Friday 18 October from 7am to 6pm.
Which one will be planted closest to the secret spot and win its owner R5000 when it is announced at 6pm?
Come along and support the Graaff Reinet Cancer Association and buy a rose or just view this beautiful spectacle.
Those who have pre-ordered are urged not to forget to go and "plant" their roses.
The Association is most appreciative of all the assistance and encouragement they have received for this fundraiser from the general public, particularly from Andy Johnson of Merino Pharmacy who sponsored all the roses, Mel Houseman who designed the poster, and the Groot Kerk for allowing them the use of their lawns.
