CRADOCK NEWS - Three young models from Refine and Render Pageants & Modelling Management in Cradock (Nxuba) were welcomed in a special ceremony at the Victoria Manor when they returned home from a competition in the Philippines on 30 May.
The models, Nthokozo Dlamini, Samkelo Napakade and Lamla Jack, have earned international titles in the prestigious Miss and Mister Teen Glam International 2025, held in Manila.
Dlamini was awarded the main title, Miss Teen Glam International 2025, Samkelo Napakade came home as Mister Teen Glam Global 2025, and Lamla Jack now carries the title as Mister Teen Glam Worldwide 2025.
From the humble streets of Cradock to the global stage, these young leaders have inspired a nation.
Proud moment
"Nthokozo, Samkelo, and Lamla have represented our country with dignity, talent and passion," said Mawande Qeqe, co-founder of Refine and Render, during an interview with Graaff-Reinet Advertiser on 29 May.
"Their victories are a proud moment for the Eastern Cape, the Chris Hani District, and all of South Africa."
He also expressed gratitude to sponsors and the community, with special mention being made of the Inxuba Yethemba Municipality, that was the major sponsor of the models' journey.
"Their generous support made it possible for the team to travel to the Philippines and fulfil their dreams.
As promised at the send-off gala dinner, the titles have been brought home!" Qeqe said.
"We extend heartfelt gratitude to the people of South Africa for their overwhelming support, prayers, and encouragement. This win belongs to all of you."
