GRAAFF-REINET NEWS — Tourism Month is celebrated annually in September with the aim of encouraging South Africans to explore their own country.
It also provides the tourism industry with an opportunity for a sustained, heightened month-long focus on the importance of domestic tourism to the economy.
The Graaff-Reinet Tourism Office will lead the celebrations locally, putting the focus on tourism attractions in Graaff-Reinet and all they have to offer.
All Graaff-Reinetters are encouraged to explore their town and surrounds to discover for themselves what tourists love about the area.
The Graaff-Reinet Tourism Office will be offering an exclusive offer this September and all locals are encouraged to make full use of this wonderful opportunity!
They will be selling 100 tickets - at only R25 each - which will give each ticket holder a one-of-a-kind tourist experience in Graaff-Reinet.
The tickets are available from the Old Library Museum and will only be available to South African citizens for the month of September only.
These tickets will allow the holder entry into the Reinet House Museum, the Old Residency Museum, the Urquart House Museum, the Military History Museum and the Old Library Museum.
Each ticket holder also qualifies for 10% off any meal at the De Camdeboo Restaurant, Polka, the Coldstream restaurant and Karoopark Guesthouse.
Each ticket holder will receive a R20 meal voucher sponsored by Gold Rush as well as a R20 discount on a 5-minute helicopter flip at Karoolus- sponsored by Fly Karoo.
A lucky ticket holder also stands a chance to win a prize valued at R300 sponsored by Villa Reinet (draw to be done on October 2.
