KAROO NEWS - Eskom announced today that they have reached an agreement with the Dr Beyers Naude Local Municipality, and the electricity supply interruption to the municipality has been cancelled with immediate effect.
This will come as a huge relief to residents of Jansenville, Steytlerville and Willowmore, who were facing the threat of 14 hours a day without power from Thursday 18 April.
"We reiterate as Eskom that the implementation of electricity supply interruptions to defaulting municipalities is only done as a last resort”.
