Emily stood out with her exceptional vocal talent, earning her a place in the solo vocals category at the national finals, which will take place in Rustenburg from 3 to 11 October.
During the semi-finals in De Aar this past weekend, Emily competed across four vocal genres, impressing judges with her versatility, emotional range and technical skill.
Her performances captured the spirit of each genre and demonstrated the heart and dedication she pours into her singing.
Securing a spot in the national finals brings Emily one step closer to an incredible opportunity – joining team South Africa and representing the country at the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Los Angeles, an international platform where young artists compete at the highest level.
