ABERDEEN NEWS - The Aberdeen police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a child was killed in an accident between a bus and a taxi on the N9 near Aberdeen on the evening of 3 October.
According to Warrant Officer Majola Nkohli, spokesperson for the Sarah Baartman policing district, the accident occurred 30 km outside Aberdeen at 21:50, after the driver of a yellow Volvo bus allegedly lost control and collided with a white Hyundai taxi.
"On arrival at the scene police found the body of a six-year-old boy inside the minibus. He was identified as Songezo Gwambe from Cape Town," said Nkholi. Seven injured passengers were taken to Aberdeen Provincial Hospital.
