GRAAFF-REINET NEWS & VIDEOS - River branches that flow from the top of the Valley of Desolation in Graaff-Reinet started flooding into the Sunday's River this afternoon (8 January).
This follows a rainfall of 27,8 mm since 7 January.
According to Nelo Kleinbooi, a weather forecaster at the Port Elizabeth Weather Office, 1,8 mm of rainfall was measured in less than an hour (between 3pm and 4pm) this afternoon.
Kleinbooi said between 5 mm and 8 mm of rainfall is predicted for the rest of the day and tomorrow, but according to her, it can be more because of heavy thunderstorm activities.
