GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The ‘Slag van Spandaukop’ between the Afrikaans and English golfers at the Graaff-Reinet Golf Club on Saturday, 8 March, was won by the Boere, 10 matches to six.
The golf course was in great condition, and the balmy weather and rain-free skies resulted in a successful day.
Great food, superb ambiance and good attendance on the deck kept the players celebrating.
Thanks to Noorsveld Chickens and Pick n Pay Graaff-Reinet, the players received lots of delightful prizes.
Wayne Myburgh, who had the longest drive among the men on Saturday, and club captain Derek Helm.
