CRADOCK NEWS - In honour of Mandela Day, Amy’s Angels took a road trip from Cradock to Nylstroom, from 14 to 19 July, to spend the week with dear friends at the Abraham Kriel Children’s Home.
One of the highlights of the visit was the special delivery of the beloved Amy Bell Blue Bags, an initiative that is sponsored by Larry and Ellen Bell and co-ordinated by Safari Club International, hunters and outfitters.
These blue bags are part of a global act of kindness.
Outfitters help identify real needs in different parts of the world, and hunters or their friends deliver the bags with care and love.
Whether it’s food, educational supplies, clothing, toys, or meat from a hunt, the bags are always filled with love.
For Mandela Day, the bags were filled with delightful treats and toys, handpicked and wrapped for Abraham Kriel children's home.
Games were played, stories were shared, and bonds were formed that will be kept in hearts for a long time.
“At Amy Bell Charities our hearts are full. The smallest acts of love made the biggest impact. Thank you to everyone who made it possible,” says Irvin Tam, managing director of Amy Bell Charities in Cradock.
