CRADOCK NEWS - On a cold, windy day last week, the hearts of everyone at Amy Bell Charities were warmed by a visit from an American family.
"It was a joy and privilege to welcome Lenny Wood, president of the West Texas Safari Club International, with his incredible family, Tyler, Logan and Ty, to the Amy Bell Children’s Centre in Cradock on a Tam Safari & Amy Bell Adventure," said Irvin Tam, managing director of Amy Bell Charities.
As Amy Bell Charities was founded within the US hunting community, hunters from the Safari Club International (SCI) who come to hunt often supply needs-specific gifts and donations to individual Amy Bell centres that they visit.
These donations are handed over in branded blue sports bags, called Amy Bell Blue Bags (a brainchild of the SCI Foundation) and for the children at the Amy Bell centres, such a handover day always brings lots of excitement.
During the Wood family's visit it was no different. “We were truly humbled by their generosity in the gifts that will especially benefit the special needs centre for children,” said Tam.
The family spent time at the centre, participating in the special daily programmes which take place at Amy Bell.
Amy Bell Charities are deeply grateful for their love, generosity and the time they spent with the Amy Bell community in Cradock.
