PEARSTON NEWS - Two passengers were killed and the driver seriously injured in an accident on the R63 on Monday 22 March.
According to police spokesperson Captain Bradley Rawlinson, a white Nissan Livian overturned 5km outside Pearston after the driver (32) lost control.
The deceased, 35-year-old Alridge Prins and 30-year-old Laucrecia Baartman, were declared dead on the scene by EMS personnel. The driver and three other injured passengers were transported to the Somerset East hospital.
A case of culpable homicide is under investigation.
