KARO NEWS - Our thoughts are with Aberdeen resident and Graaff-Reinet Advertiser correspondent Sue Shaw, who has been hospitalised due to Covid-19 complications.
She is currently being treated in the intensive care unit of Greenacres Hospital in Port Elizabeth.
Late July, Shaw wrote about her experience of being admitted to the Covid-19 ward in Midland Hospital, Graaff-Reinet. She was happy to return home, having recovered, but unfortunately fell ill again.
Shaw is a well-known and beloved member of the Aberdeen community, who plays an integral role in uncovering stories not only in her hometown, but also in Graaff-Reinet. She is also a talented baker and a doting grandmother.
We wish her a speedy recovery.
