GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - The Trinity Methodist Church, situated at 57 Caledon Street, Graaff-Reinet, will be hosting the music duo Derek and Jenie Oliver, known as “The Cross Plus Nothing” this Sunday evening, 16 December at 19:00 for a special Christmas carol service.
Although they will be ministering in song, the audience will also have the opportunity to join in the singing of the old familiar carols.
Derek and Jenie were professional singers for years in Cape Town, but just over two years ago, they felt called into fulltime music ministry and the rest, as they say, is history.
They have travelled the country bringing the Gospel in song to churches, rehabilitation centres, prisons, schools, retirement villages and so on.
This will be their third visit to Graaff-Reinet.
Entrance to the carol service is free, but the Trinity Methodist Church will take up a love offering to bless their ministry.
You are also invited for a cup of tea in the hall to sooth the throat after the singing and meet the artists.
Should you wish to know more, please contact the Trinity office on 049 892 2366.
This is a wonderful opportunity to invite friends and family to hear of the hope we have in Christ at this special time of the year.
Entrance to the carol service is free, but the Trinity Methodist Church will take up a love offering to bless their ministry.
