GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - This week, on Wednesday, 14 November, World Diabetes Awareness Day, Clicks Graaff-Reinet is assisting the local Lions Service Club in providing free blood pressure and blood glucose testing.
One in two diabetes patients aren’t diagnosed and often the symptoms are not obvious.
Lions is grateful to Clicks for providing the venue and equipment as well as to the trained nursing sisters who will be doing the testing and advising those who need help about the next step.
The public are invited to visit Clicks Graaff-Reinet in Caledon Street between 09:00 and 14:00 this Wednesday, 14 November to be tested.
Many people are suffering from diabetes (“suikersiekte”) but are not aware of it or think they might be but are not sure.
