GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Just over 2 000 customers in Graaff-Reinet, Somerset, Cookhouse and Aberdeen have been without electricity since 04:35 this morning due to damage caused to Eskom’s electricity infrastructure by severe weather conditions in the area.

A steel structure has fallen down and Eskom’s technicians are on site repairing the damage.

Eskom appeals to all customers to be extra cautious during this period and to treat all electrical appliances as live as the supply can be restored at any time.
