Update
GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - Three people died in this morning’s (6 February) taxi accident on Naudé Pass, between Graaff-Reinet and Middelburg.
The accident occurred at about 6am.
Advertiser received confirmation that eight more passengers were rushed to Midlands Hospital. Three of them sustained serious injuries, while five others will be treated for minor injuries.
It not yet known how many people were in the taxi at the time of the accident.
Police Spokesperson, Captain Bradley Rawlinson, said at 9.30am that the detectives were still on scene, and he was awaiting an official report from them.
