GRAAFF-REINET NEWS AND VIDEOS - The fire raging in the Sundays River on Saturday afternoon was contained shortly before 7pm.
“The wind is currently somewhat of an issue, as it ignites the fire,” Dr Beyers Naudé Municipality Spokesperson Wilca Smith told the Advertiser shortly after 8pm.
Community Service Director Bennie Arends told the Advertiser on scene that the issue was under control, and remaining officials were cordoning off the area.
