ABERDEEN NEWS — The animal rescue organisation in Aberdeen, CARE, will be holding a street sale this Saturday, 12 May, in the town square opposite Usave.
A selection of bric-a-brac will be available, as well as delicious home-baked cakes.
The CARE volunteers do a wonderful job working with low-income households and providing pet care. Many sick and injured animals are taken to the vets in Graaff-Reinet by willing volunteers. Sadly, many also have to be taken to be put down.
CARE desperately needs dog crates to transport medium-sized dogs to the vet. Anyone who has spare pieces of light-weight wood that they no longer need is asked to contact Maureen MacAndrew on 072 812 4879, as these can be used to construct new crates.
Saturday’s sale will start at 08:30, and continue until about noon, or when everything is sold.
