GRAAFF-REINET NEWS - On Saturday morning 3 February, Stallions Cricket Club faced Steytlerville at the Botanics grounds in Graaff-Reinet.
Stallions batted first and thanks to an aggressive knock of 76 runs (10 fours and one six) by Samuel Bantom, the team posted 129 runs on the board for the loss of seven wickets.
Chasing 130 runs for victory, the Steytlerville batsmen capitulated and were skittled out for a paltry 48 runs.
Stuart Basson and Ashwell Adams claimed three wickets apiece to set up a record win for the Stallions.
The next game for the Stallions will be played on the Fred Hufkie Oval in Kroonvale against Masizakhe 2 on 10 February.
